Pathology demonstrates a wide and superficial invasive adenocarcinoma with pushing borders. Note that the tumor is limited to the sphincter of Oddi with uninvolved deep ampullary channels and negative lateral and deep margins. The high magnification view confirmed moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma.
